PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER

      Attach the claw to install the upper seat track rail cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other locations.

  2. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Connect the No. 1 terminal of the motor to the positive (+) battery terminal, and the No. 4 terminal to the negative (-) battery terminal and then move the front seat adjuster assembly LH to the rearmost position.

      Note

      After performing this procedure, initialize the seat ECU (position control ECU assembly).

      Attach the claw and install the rear upper seat track cover.

      Use the same procedure for the other locations.

      Connect the No. 4 terminal of the slide motor to the positive (+) battery terminal, and the No. 1 terminal to the negative (-) battery terminal and then align the slide motor to the matchmark on the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

      Note

      After performing this procedure, initialize the seat ECU (position control ECU assembly).

  3. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (w/ Front Passenger Side Folding Headrest)

    When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 8 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings securely.

    4. Pass the band of the separate type front seat cushion cover through the separate type front seat cushion pad.

    Note

    Perform work with the reclining adjuster inside cover on top of a box to prevent it from becoming damaged.
