The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the rear center seat outer belt assembly removal/installation are shown below.

  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:


      • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      • If an SRS part is accidentally deployed, it may cause a serious injury.

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the clip.

    3. Pass the rear seat outer belt assembly LH, rear seat outer belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly through the hole of the package tray trim panel assembly.

    4. pull in the removal direction to detach the guide and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear center seat outer belt assembly.
