The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during the battery state sensor assembly removal/installation are shown below.

Note
After the engine switch is turned off, the navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from the battery state sensor assembly.
Note
When disconnecting the wire harness, some systems need to be initialized after the wire harness is reconnected.
Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery.
