FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the front seat inner belt assembly removal/installation are shown below.

- Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.

- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- There is risk of injury.
Note

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

Disconnect the 2 connectors.

*A	for 2WD	*B	for AWD
*C	w/o Easy Access Buckle	*D	w/ Easy Access Buckle
	Remove in this Direction		Protective Tape

Detach the wire harness clamp.
Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the connector.

Tech Tips

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
w/ Easy Access Buckle:
1. Remove the 2 nuts.
2. Remove in this Direction
  
  Pass the buckle of the front seat inner belt assembly LH through the hole of the separate type front seat cushion cover LH and remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH.
w/o Easy Access Buckle:
1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.
Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

w/o Occupant Detection ECU:

Disconnect the connector.

*A	w/ Easy Access Buckle	*B	w/o Easy Access Buckle
	Remove in this Direction		Protective Tape

Detach the wire harness clamp.
Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the connector.

Tech Tips

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

w/ Occupant Detection ECU:
1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
  
  *A w/ Easy Access Buckle *B w/o Easy Access Buckle
2. Detach the wire harness clamp.
w/ Easy Access Buckle:
1. Remove the 2 nuts.
2. Remove in this Direction
  
  Pass the buckle of the front seat inner belt assembly RH through the hole of the separate type front seat cushion cover RH and remove the front seat inner belt assembly RH.
w/o Easy Access Buckle:
1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.
Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.
