  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER) (for Standard Seat Type)

    Tech Tips


    • When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    • The front seat cushion heater cannot be removed from the separate type front seat cushion cover as they are a unit.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover) to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 18 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type)


    1. w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Engage the 10 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    2. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Engage the 7 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

        Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        Engage the 4 hooks.

        Engage the 2 fasteners.

    3. for Front Passenger Side without Occupant Classification System:


      1. B007X41

        Engage the claw to install the connector.

      2. B007XAH

        Connect the connector.

    4. B007XLP

      Engage the 4 clamps.

    5. Connect the 2 connectors.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER) (for Sports Seat Type)

    Tech Tips

    The front seat cushion heater cannot be removed from the front seat cushion pad with cover as they are a unit.


    1. Engage the 10 hooks to install the front seat cushion heater (front seat cushion pad with cover).

        Engage the claw to install the connector.

        Connect the connector.

    3. B007XLP

      Engage the 4 clamps.

    4. Connect the 2 connectors.
