OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD) (for Standard Seat Type)

    Tech Tips

    When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    1. Temporarily install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    2. A01RCU0N01

      Using hog ring pliers, install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    3. A01R90IN01

      w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    4. A01RA0HN01

      w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type)

  3. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER) (for Sports Seat Type)


    1. Engage the 10 hooks to install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad with cover).

      Engage the claw to install the connector.

      Connect the connector.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01VVDH

        Engage the 4 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.
