B1475/75 A/C Inverter Cooling / Heating System Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The temperature sensor of the compressor with motor assembly detects its inverter temperature.

If the temperature exceeds the maximum, the operation of the compressor with motor assembly will be stopped, and DTC B1475/75 will be stored.

B1475/75 Temperature of the inverter is outside the specified range (temperature is too high), or there is an open or short to ground in the temperature sensor circuit.

Note

The hybrid control system and air conditioning system output DTCs separately. Inspect DTCs following the diagnosis procedure for the hybrid control system first if any DTCs from those systems are output simultaneously Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  2. CHECK COOLING FAN SYSTEM


    1. Check that the cooling fan system is functioning normally Click here.

  3. CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE


    1. Install a manifold gauge set.


    2. Turn the power switch on (Ready).

      Read the manifold gauge pressure when the following conditions are established.


      1. Prepare the vehicle according to the chart below.

        1.37 to 1.57 MPa (14 to 16 kgf/cm2, 199 to 228 psi)

  4. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the maintenance mode Click here.

      Tech Tips

      The engine keeps idling.

    3. Prepare the vehicle according to the table below.

    4. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B1475/75 is not output

      Note

      If the engine keeps idling when ambient temperature is high, the compressor may automatically stop to protect the inverter circuit, and DTC B1475/75 may be stored.
