OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (for Power Seat) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

      Using hog ring pliers, install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

      Engage the 2 fasteners.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Engage the 8 hooks and install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    2. Engage the 4 clips.

    3. Install the 2 clips.

      Engage the 4 hooks.

    5. Engage the clamp.

    6. Connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    7. for Leather Seat:


      1. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. A01CEWN

      Engage the 2 clips.

    2. Install the No. 1 front seat inner cushion shield RH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Engage the 2 clips.

    2. Install the No. 1 front seat inner cushion shield LH with the screw.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CF4GE01

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the front seat adjuster.

    2. A01CANQ

      Engage each clamp.

    3. Connect each connector.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A01CCTQ

      Engage the 7 claws, clip and 2 guides.

    2. Install the front seat inner cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. A01CFUD

      Engage the 8 claws and 2 guides.

    4. Install the front seat cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 3 screws.

    5. A01CFNA

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  8. INSTALL SLIDE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CBRW

      Install the slide power seat switch knob.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CFDZ

      Install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  10. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER


    1. A01CCGX

      Install the lower front seat leg cover.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CCEX

      Install the front seat leg assembly with the 5 nuts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the 2 connectors.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CCXM

      Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. A01CCND

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    4. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    5. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    6. A01CDSZE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. A01CEQ6

      Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.

    8. A01CCED

      Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.

    9. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

    10. A01CCQQE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Engage the 6 claws and guide to install the front seat leg cover LH.

    2. A01CEXK

      Install the floor carpet.

  15. INSTALL NO. 3 FLOOR CARPET MOULDING


    1. A01CEGE

      Engage the 2 clips and install the 2 No. 3 floor carpet mouldings.

  16. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  17. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD (for RHD)

  18. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD (for LHD)

      Engage the 2 guides, claw and the 2 clips to install the cowl side trim board RH.

    2. Install the clip(A).
