OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (for Manual Seat) INSTALLATION

INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion pad to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 15 new hog rings.
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the cover.
  
  When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
1. Engage the 5 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.
2. Install the 2 clips.
3. Engage the 4 hooks.
4. Connect the occupant detection sensor connector.
5. Engage the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors as shown in the illustration.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.
  
  Torque:
  
  42 N*m { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
  
  Note
  
  Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the front seat adjuster.
2. Engage each clamp.
3. Connect each connector.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD
1. Engage the claw, clip and guide.
2. Install the front seat inner cushion shield with the screw.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
1. Engage the claw, clip and guide.
2. Install the front seat cushion shield with the screw.
3. Engage the 2 hooks.
INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE
1. Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.
INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER
1. Install the lower front seat leg cover.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY
1. Install the front seat leg assembly with the 5 nuts.
  
  Torque:
  
  20 N*m { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
2. Engage the 2 clamps.
3. Connect the 2 connectors.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Connect the 2 connectors.
3. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.
4. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.
5. Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.
  
  Torque:
  
  39 N*m { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
6. Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.
7. Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.
8. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.
9. Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.
  
  Torque:
  
  39 N*m { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
INSPECT FOR FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCKS
1. During sliding operation of the front seat, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously. If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the bolts securing the seat to adjust the adjuster position.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH
1. Engage the 6 claws and guide to install the front seat leg cover LH.
2. Install the floor carpet.
INSTALL NO. 3 FLOOR CARPET MOULDING
1. Engage the 2 clips and install the 2 No. 3 floor carpet mouldings.
