POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Front Passenger Seat) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector to the power seat switch assembly.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the power seat switch assembly.

    3. A01CEI0

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    4. A01CFGR

      Install the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      for Leather Seat:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    6. A01CDX5

      Engage the 12 hooks.

    7. A01CB6O

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with pad with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CC57

      Install the front seat armrest assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST COVER


    1. A01CALV

      Engage the 3 claws to install the seat armrest cover.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CFHK

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the front seatback board sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 FRONT SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL


    1. A01CCUL

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the lower No. 2 front seatback lock bezel with the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 FRONT SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL


    1. A01CGHW

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the lower No. 1 front seatback lock bezel with the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL FOOTREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CDW6

      Install the footrest assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      32 N*m  { 326 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER


    1. A01CCGX

      Install the lower front seat leg cover.

  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CCEX

      Install the front seat leg assembly with the 5 nuts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the 2 connectors.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A01CCTQ

      Engage the 7 claws, clip and 2 guides.

    2. Install the front seat inner cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH


    1. A01CF2W

      Connect the connector.

    2. Install the front power seat switch with the 3 screws.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. A01CFUD

      Engage the 8 claws and 2 guides.

    4. Install the front seat cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 3 screws.

    5. A01CFNA

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  13. INSTALL SLIDE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CBRW

      Install the slide power seat switch knob.

  14. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CFDZ

      Install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CCXM

      Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. A01CCND

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    4. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    5. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. A01CEQ6

      Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.

    8. A01CCED

      Engage the 2 claws and guide to close the cover.

    9. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

    10. A01CCQQE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH

      Engage the 6 claws and guide to install the front seat leg cover LH.

    2. A01CEXK

      Install the floor carpet.

  18. INSTALL NO. 3 FLOOR CARPET MOULDING


    1. A01CEGE

      Engage the 2 clips and install the 2 No. 3 floor carpet mouldings.

  19. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

  20. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for LHD)

      Engage the 2 guides, claw and the 2 clips to install the cowl side trim board RH.

    2. Install the clip(A).

  21. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for RHD)

    2. Install the clip(A).
