DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when CAN communication between the driving support ECU assembly and brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) is interrupted.

This circuit consists of the driving support ECU assembly, brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. DTC B2085 is stored when the seat belt control ECU detects an interruption in CAN communication between the driving support ECU assembly and brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU).

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

  2. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    6. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC B2085 is not output.

    • OK

      CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOMS SIMULATION) (Click here)

    • NG

      REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (Click here)
