The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the EV control ECU removal/installation are shown below.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note


    • After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for LHD)

      Disconnect the 4 EV control ECU connectors.

    2. A01MFMXC02
      *a Protective Tape
      B006JEG Put up
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the EV control ECU from the ECU integration box RH.

  18. REMOVE EV CONTROL ECU (for RHD)

      Disconnect the 4 EV control ECU connectors.

      B006JEG Put up
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the EV control ECU from the ECU integration box LH.
