POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (for Models with Jam Protection Function on 4 Windows) Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the multiplex network master switch assembly sends remote up and down signals to each power window regulator motor assembly via the LIN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • The power window control system uses a LIN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting Click here. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

  • If a power window regulator motor assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (MAIN BODY)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.
