PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  9. REMOVE HEATER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the heater switch assembly.

  10. REMOVE IDLE UP SWITCH (w/o Viscous Heater)

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the idle up switch.
