  1. PRECAUTION

  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT

  8. PARKING BRAKE FORCED RELEASE


    1. Remove the release cable cap of the electric parking brake actuator.

    2. A01WWHS

      Using a hexagon wrench, press and turn counterclockwise to release the parking brake.

      Only models for China:

      Use the emergency release tool found in the glove box to release the parking brake.

    3. Install the release cable cap of the electric parking brake actuator.
