DRIVING SUPPORT ECU INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL DRIVING SUPPORT ECU

   Note

   Do not use an ECU which has been dropped or subjected to any strong shocks.

   
   

   1. for LHD

      
      

      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the guide to install the driving support ECU.

      3. Install the nut.

         Torque:

         5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

   2. for RHD

      
      

      1. Install the driving support ECU with the 2 nuts.

         Torque:

         7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Install the cowl side junction block LH with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the each connector.

3. INSTALL COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Install the cowl side junction block RH with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the each connector.

4. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

   Click here

8. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

9. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

15. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
