ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ECU REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during electric parking brake ECU removal/installation are shown below.

PRECAUTION

Note

After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

1. Remove the 2 nuts and pull out the electric parking brake ECU.
2. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the electric parking brake ECU.
3. Detach the clamp.
4. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the fuel pump control ECU.
