When the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery, the memory of the clock and audio system will be cleared. So before starting work, make a record of the contents in the audio memory system. When work is finished, reset the audio systems as they were before and adjust the clock. Some vehicles have power tilt steering, power telescopic steering, power seat and power outside rear view mirror which are all equipped with memory function. * Before repair, remove the airbag sensor if shocks are likely to be applied to the sensor during repair. NOTICE : When inspecting or repairing the SRS, perform service in accordance with the following precautionary instructions and the procedure, and precautions in the Repair Manual applicable for the model year. Malfunction symptoms of the SRS are difficult to confirm, so the DTCs become the most important source of information when troubleshooting. When troubleshooting the SRS, always inspect the DTCs before disconnecting the battery. * * * (The SRS is equipped with a back-up power source so that if work is started within 90 seconds from disconnecting the negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may deploy.) To avoid erasing the memory in each system, never use a back-up power supply from outside the vehicle. * Do not expose the following parts directly to hot air or flame; * Side airbag assembly * Steering wheel pad * Front passenger airbag assembly * Curtain shield airbag assembly * Knee airbag assembly * Seat belt pretensioner * Center airbag sensor assembly * Front airbag sensor assembly * Side airbag sensor assembly * Rear airbag sensor assembly * Rear seat airbag assmbly 2 Q11 10A A/B 1 3A 1 8 B H59 BCL+ 2 1 2 1 BCL+ Y Y-B Y Y-B 46 (IG) IG2 2 22 A 13 A CANL CANH DK- B BR B 30 B 21 B 22 CPU W (BAT) 2 1 10A ECU-B NO.1 31 3D 26 3B GR B IG+ ES Telltales LED Driver 5V IC W V CAN I/F D2- D2+ Spiral Cable Sub-Assembly H21(A),z2(E),z3(F),z19(G),z20(H) 3 A 4 A D- D+ 2 A 1 A P- P+ GSW B ICR+ ICR- ICL+ ICL- P4 P27 Pretensioner Pretensioner Q8 A RSP- RSP+ 18 DK- Knee Airbag PK- PK+ Knee Airbag Q32 RBE+ RBE- Buckle Switch H36(A),P2(B),Q5(C) 2 RSP- 2 1 Y Y-B PLR+ RL+ P22 PLR- RL- C 1 C 2 2 1 Y Y-B PRR+ RR+ Q23 PRR- RR- 24 C 16 C 3 4 B W 7.5A ECU-IG2 NO.1 3A 17 2 (IG) Junction Connector H107(A),H108(B) 5 B 10 A W-B RSP+ Seat Position Sensor W B 29 CANL CANH 28 B G 3A 45 24 GSW Main Body ECU Combination Meter Assembly H14(B) 1 W 2 W 1 A 2 A 1 H 2 H W Y W L W R 2 B 1 B 2 F 1 F Junction Connector H117(B),H122(F) W B 13 C 26 C CANH CANL ECM A22(A),A64(C) H36(A),P2(B),Q5(C) G G W W Front Airbag Sensor LH Side Airbag Sensor Assembly LH Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly LH Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly LH Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH Rear Seat 3 Point Type Belt Assembly Outer LH Side Airbag Sensor Assembly RH Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly RH Rear Seat 3 Point Type Belt Assembly Outer RH Front Airbag Sensor RH Lower No. 1 Instrument Panel Airbag Assembly Airbag Sensor Assembly Airbag Sensor Assembly Airbag Sensor Assembly Lower No. 2 Instrument Panel Airbag Assembly Instrument Panel Passenger Airbag without Door Assembly 2 1 2 1 Pretensioner Pretensioner Y O B-O B-W A 26 (*2) A 13 (*3) * 2 :2GR-FE * 3 :2AR-FE 19 18 W G Rear Side Airbag Sensor LH Rear Side Airbag Sensor RH (*4) (*4) (*4) (*4) * 4 :Before Aug. 2014 Production S 2 (*6) (*5) S 1 Junction Connector H116(A),H125(H), H168(S),H211(W) B 29 B 30 (*6) B 31 (*5) (*5) (*5) BR (*6) 18 16 Junction Connector H112 G G * 5 :Before Jul. 2015 Production * 6 :From Jul. 2015 Production (*5) (*6) (*6) (*5) 1 H 2 H 1 G 2 G F 2 F 1 E 2 (*8) (*7) E 1 Driver Side Squib Circuit (Horn Button Assembly) z2(E),z3(F),z19(G),z20(H) * 7 :Before Aug. 2016 Production * 8 :From Aug. 2016 Production * * * If the following parts have been dropped, or have cracks, dents and other defects in their case, bracket, and connector, replace with new one. For the purpose of reuse, never disassemble and repair the following parts. Even in cases of a minor collision where the SRS does not deploy, the following parts should be inspected; * Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace with new parts. If the vehicle is equipped with a mobile communication system, refer to the precaution in the IN section of the Repair Manual. After work on the SRS is completed, check the SRS warning light. Information labels are attached to the periphery of the SRS components. Follow the instructions of the notice. * Use a volt/ohmmeter with high impedance (10 kΩ/V minimum) for troubleshooting electrical circuits of the system. However, it is not possible to make a record of these memory contents. So when the work is finished, it will be necessary to explain it to your customer, and ask the customer to adjust the features and reset the memory. * * * HG1 HG1 AH1 AH1 HG1 HG1 HA5 HA5 HA5 HA5 Qz2 Pz2 Qz2 Pz2 Pz1 Pz1 Qz1 Qz1 H4 H4 H1
