WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH (for Automatic Cooler System) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. for Manual Air Conditioning System:


      1. A01DVOWE01

        *1 Protective Tape

        Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

      2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 10 claws and 4 clips.

      3. A01E1XL

        Detach the 4 claws and disconnect the air conditioner control.

      4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:


      1. A01DYRHE01

        *1 Protective Tape

        Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

      2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 claws and 4 clips.

      3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.

  4. REMOVE LOWER HEATER CONTROL BASE


    1. A01DXLS

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A01DWPG

      Remove the 4 screws.

    3. Detach the 3 claws and disconnect the lower heater control base.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER WIRE


    1. A01E1QF

      Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wire from the air conditioning amplifier assembly as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL BASE


    1. A01DXNN

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the heater control base.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER WIRE

      Remove the No. 1 cooler wire from the air conditioning amplifier assembly as shown in the illustration.
