The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the front bumper assembly removal/installation are shown below.

Tech Tips
When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE
REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts.
Remove the 4 clips.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH side.

Disconnect the 2 connectors.

Detach the claw and clip while pulling toward the outside of the vehicle and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
