The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the power window regulator motor assembly removal/installation are shown below.

Tech Tips

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:


      • After disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, wait for at least 90 seconds to start the operation.

      • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 "TORX" screws and power window regulator motor assembly LH from the rear door window regulator assembly LH.
