The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during electric parking brake ECU removal/installation are shown below.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      Remove the 2 nuts and pull out the electric parking brake ECU.

    2. B006FS4

      Disconnect the 2 connectors from the electric parking brake ECU.

    3. Detach the clamp.

      Disconnect the 2 connectors from the fuel pump control ECU.
