VACUUM PUMP(for 8GR-FKS) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HOSE TO HOSE TUBE (for LHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE

    Click here

  7. DISCONNECT OUTLET HEATER WATER HOSE

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE (for LHD)

      Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire.

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE WIRE (for LHD)

      Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 engine wire.

  10. DISCONNECT UNION TO CHECK VALVE HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the vacuum pump assembly.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 12 WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. B006DUC

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 12 water by-pass hose from the No. 2 water by-pass pipe.

  12. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and vacuum pump assembly from the engine assembly.

    2. B006C6ZC03
      *1 No. 2 O-ring
      *2 No. 3 O-ring

      Remove the No. 2 O-ring and No. 3 O-ring from the vacuum pump assembly.
