HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the guide to temporarily install the headlight leveling ECU assembly.

    2. Install the headlight leveling ECU assembly with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
      Nut
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Engage the clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

    5. Engage the 3 clips to connect the connector holder.

    6. Connect the earth wire with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

    7. for LHD:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 3 dash panel insulator pad.

    8. for RHD:


      1. Engage the fastener to install the No. 3 dash panel insulator pad.

    9. for LHD:

        Install the front floor carpet assembly to its original position as shown in the illustration.

      2. Engage each fastener and the clamp.

      3. Install the clip.

    10. for RHD:

        B008GB8 Fastener

        Install the front floor carpet assembly to its original position as shown in the illustration.

      2. Engage the fastener and clamp.

    11. Engage the 2 claws to install the front floor carpet assembly to the 2 floor carpet hooks.

  2. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR (w/ AVS)

  3. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  4. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL PAD (for LHD)

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

    Click here

  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Click here

  8. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

    Click here

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ AVS)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  12. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  13. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING
