PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly.

    1. for Bank 1:


      1. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. for Bank 2:


      1. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      2. Install the bolt.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      3. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

      4. Install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly with clip.

      5. Attach the wire harness clamp.

      6. Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. for Bank 1:


      1. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. for Bank 2:


      1. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      2. Install the bolt.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      3. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

      4. Install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly with clip.

      5. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

      6. Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  5. CONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE

    Click here

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSS MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  7. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  8. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    Click here

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER PLATE

  10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
