  • Use the same procedure for the RHD side and LHD side.

  • The following procedure is for the LHD side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  2. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

  10. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  13. REMOVE AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH


    1. for LHD:


      1. B0084MWC01
        *a Protective Tape
        B00847Z Remove in this Direction

        Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the auto high beam switch as shown in the illustration.

    2. for RHD:


      1. B0086LVC01
        *a Protective Tape
        B00847Z Remove in this Direction

        Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the auto high beam switch as shown in the illustration.
