INJECTOR DRIVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time maybe required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

   Click here

5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

   Click here

6. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

   Click here

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

   Click here

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

   Click here

10. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER

    
    
    1. 

       *a	Lock Lever
       *b	Lock
       *c	Injector Driver Connector (with Lock)
       	Bolt
       	Nut

       Push the lock and move the lock lever of injector driver connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration and disconnect the injector driver connector (with lock).

    2. Disconnect the 2 injector driver connectors.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and injector driver from the intake manifold.

       Note

       Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
