The following procedure is for the LH side.

REMOVE REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DRIVE SHAFT SNAP RING
REMOVE REAR DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL

Using SST, remove the rear drive shaft oil seal from the rear differential carrier assembly.
INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL

Using SST and a hammer, install a new rear drive shaft oil seal into the rear differential carrier assembly.
Note
Install the rear drive shaft oil seal uniformly so that it is driven in straight.
Do not excessively tap in the rear drive shaft oil seal.
Do not damage the rear drive shaft oil seal.
Make sure to install the rear drive shaft oil seal as specified, otherwise a malfunction such as an oil leak may occur.

Apply a light coat of MP grease to the lip of the new rear drive shaft oil seal.
