MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL

Note

This procedure includes the removal of small-head bolts. Refer to Small-Head Bolts of Basic Repair Hint to identify the small-head bolts.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE

    Click here

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. for Bank 1:


      1. B006GS0

        Disconnect the No. 1 turbo pressure sensor connector.

      2. Disconnect the No. 4 air hose from No. 1 turbo pressure sensor.

      3. Remove the bolt and No. 1 turbo pressure sensor.

    2. for Bank 2:


      1. B006EIQ

        Disconnect the No. 1 turbo pressure sensor connector.

      2. Disconnect the No. 5 air hose from the No. 1 turbo pressure sensor.

      3. Remove the bolt and No. 1 turbo pressure sensor.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. B006EHC

      Disconnect the No. 3 turbo pressure sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 3 turbo pressure sensor.
