VACUUM SENSOR REMOVAL

This procedure includes the removal of small-head bolts. Refer to Small-Head Bolts of Basic Repair Hint to identify the small-head bolts.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE

    Click here

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  5. REMOVE E.F.I. VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. for Bank 1:


      1. B006EL8

        Disconnect the E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly connector.

      2. Disconnect the No. 6 air hose from the E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly.

      3. Remove the bolt and E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly.

    2. for Bank 2:


      1. B006BFN

        Disconnect the E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly connector.

      2. Disconnect the No. 7 air hose from the E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly.

      3. Remove the bolt and E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly.
