KICK-DOWN SWITCH(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD


    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

      *a Clamp *b Guide
      B008GB8 Fastener - -

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Disconnect the guide.

    4. Disengage each fastener and turn back the front floor carpet assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 clips and No. 3 dash panel insulator pad.

  7. REMOVE KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the kick down switch assembly connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

      *a Nut

      Remove the nut, 2 bolts and kick down switch assembly from the vehicle body.
