AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM (for Radio Receiver Type) Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Radio Receiver

DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a microphone signal from the telephone microphone assembly to the radio receiver assembly.

It also supplies power from the radio receiver assembly to the telephone microphone assembly.

  1. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Radio Receiver Assembly)

      Disconnect the H39 radio receiver connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H39-1 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      H39-3 (MACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 4.75 to 5.25 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - MAP LIGHT)

      Disconnect the H39 radio receiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the Q7 map light connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H39-3 (MACC) - Q7-12 (MACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      H39-2 (MIN+) - Q7-11 (MIC+)
      H39-5 (MIN-) - Q7-10 (MIC-)
      H39-1 (SNS2) - Q7-3 (SNS2)
      H39-3 (MACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H39-2 (MIN+) - Body ground
      H39-5 (MIN-) - Body ground
      H39-1 (SNS2) - Body ground
      H39-6 (SGND) - Body ground

  3. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE WITH ANOTHER AND CHECK


    1. Replace the telephone microphone with a normal one Click here.

    2. Check if the same problem occurs again.

      OK
      Malfunction disappears.
