DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU sends signals such as cruise control cancel signals and brake demand response signals to the ECM when the dynamic radar cruise control system is in operation.

P1630 While the dynamic radar cruise control is either preparing for operation or operating, if communication data from the skid control ECU is logically inconsistent for a certain amount of time, the ECM records this logical error code

  1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the brake actuator assembly Click here.

  3. CHECK DTC (RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the cruise control main switch on.
