  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. Detach the 9 clips and guide.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.

  4. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FVOP

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A01FS6G

      Detach the 2 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Pull out the multi-media module receiver assembly.

    4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the multi-media module receiver assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 7 clips.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ION GENERATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the claw.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ion generator sub-assembly.

      *1 Rear Air Duct Sub-assembly

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear air duct sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A01FSMO

    1. Detach the 2 claws.

    2. Remove the clip and air duct sub-assembly.
