Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
Note
While the auxiliary is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch is turned on. Therefore, when servicing brake system components, do not depress the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the auxiliary battery is connected.
INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU BRACKET
Install the skid control ECU bracket with the 3 bolts.
| *A | for LHD | *B | for RHD |
Note
Install the bolts in alphabetical order.
Attach the claw and connect the No. 3 relay block to the skid control ECU bracket.
INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
Connect the 2 connectors and press the lock levers down to lock the connectors.
Note
Make sure that the lock levers securely lock the connectors.
Connect the connector.
Install the skid control ECU assembly with the 2 nuts and bolt.
Connect the clamp to the skid control ECU assembly.
CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
Install the luggage compartment trim cover.
INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
Install the luggage compartment floor mat.
CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING
When the skid control ECU is replaced, perform the linear valve offset learning Click here.
PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
Attach the 2 clips to install the engine room side cover LH.
