This DTC is stored when the inner rear view mirror assembly (automatic high beam sensor) cannot store the vehicle information.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU - INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR)


    1. Disconnect the A7 headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the Y8 inner rear view mirror connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A7-11 (RH+) - Y8-10 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      A7-11 (RH+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  4. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SENSOR)


    1. Temporarily replace the inner rear view mirror with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.
