DESCRIPTION

The DTC is stored when the headlight swivel ECU detects malfunctions in the rear height control sensor LH power source or rear height control sensor LH.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LH)


    1. Disconnect the A7 headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the r1 rear height control sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A7-18 (SBR) - r1-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      A7-19 (SHRL) - r1-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      A7-21 (SGR) - r1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      A7-18 (SBR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A7-19 (SHRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A7-21 (SGR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
