DESCRIPTION

Each swivel motor receives a signal from the headlight swivel ECU to operate and sends a signal indicating the direction of the headlight and condition of the headlight swivel motor to the headlight swivel ECU.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • After replacing the headlight swivel ECU, perform initialization and registration of vehicle information Click here.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2412 or B2413 output does not occur.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test Click here.

      Disconnect the headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU - HEADLIGHT UNIT)


    1. Disconnect the A7 headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the B5*1 or B2*2 headlight connector.


      • *1: for LH

      • *2: for RH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
