G-BOOK SYSTEM (w/ Telematics Transceiver) "NRES" is Displayed in "DCM" on the System Check Mode Screen

DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver does not receive any of the following from the multi-media module receiver assembly within the specified time, "NRES" will be displayed.

  1. INSPECTION USING "SYSTEM CHECK MODE" SCREEN


    1. Perform inspections indicated on the System Check Mode screen to confirm the DCM inspection result Click here.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Check the installation condition.


      1. Check the USB communication cable (digital communication cable) between the multi-media module receiver assembly and the telematics transceiver for any installation or connection problems.

    2. Disconnect the N145 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    3. Disconnect the N146 telematics transceiver connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      N145-1-2 (USB+) - N146-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-1-1 (USB-) - N146-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω

      N145-2 (USBG) - N146-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
