DESCRIPTION

If an open circuit in the roof antenna assembly is detected continuously for 1 minute as a result of a terminal check performed by the telematics transceiver every minute after the engine switch is turned on (ACC), this DTC will be stored.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.


    NEXT
  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Check for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      OK
      No DTC is output.

    NG
    OK
  3. INSPECT ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the installation condition.


      1. Check the roof antenna assembly for any installation problems.

        OK
        The roof antenna assembly is installed correctly.
    2. Disconnect the roof antenna connector.

      Disconnect the A No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the roof antenna assembly.

    2. Disconnect the N141 No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the wire harness.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-3 (TEL1) - N141-3 (TEL1) Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3a - N141-3a Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3 (TEL1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A-3a - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the N141 No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N153 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N141-3 (TEL1) - N153-1 (TEL2) Always Below 1 Ω
      N141-3 (TEL1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG
    OK
  6. REPLACE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER


    1. Replace the telematics transceiver with a known good one Click here.
