DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER


    1. Install the door control receiver with the bolt.

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Click here.

  3. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear side seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Engage the hook to install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the rear seat outer belt assembly to the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. A01EVL5

      Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. A01EUI2

      Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH (for Reclining Seat Type)

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      Text in Illustration
      *1 Alignment Mark (Blue)

      Align the alignment mark (Blue) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Reclining Seat Type)

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. A01EVL5

      Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect the 2 seat heater connectors.

    3. A01EX1E

      Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the seat cushion assembly.

  13. REGISTER DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET SUB-ASSEMBLY ID (w/o Smart Entry and Start System)
