DESCRIPTION

The display signal from the rear television camera assembly transmits to the radio and display receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F91 connector from the radio and display receiver assembly.

    2. Disconnect the P9 connector from the rear television camera assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F91-11 (CA+) - P9-6 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F91-12 (V+) - P9-3 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F91-23 (CGND) - P9-5 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F91-24 (V-) - P9-2 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F91-11 (CA+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F91-12 (V+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F91-23 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F91-24 (V-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Reconnect the F91 connector to the radio and display receiver assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F91-24 (V-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F91-23 (CGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      F91-11 (CA+) - F91-23 (CGND)

      Ignition switch ON

      Shift lever in R

      		 5.5 to 7.0 V

  3. INSPECT REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the P9 connector to the rear television camera assembly.

    2. Check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips

      A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the radio and display receiver assembly with the connector connected.
