NAVIGATION SYSTEM (for Navigation Receiver Type), Diagnostic DTC:B15D8

DTC Code DTC Name
B15D8 Monitor Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU sub-assembly and parking assist ECU are connected via AVC-LAN communication.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the navigation ECU sub-assembly and parking assist ECU, this DTC will be stored.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B15D8 Parking assist ECU is not/was not connected while the power switch is/was on (ACC or IG).
  • Parking assist ECU power source circuit

  • AVC-LAN circuit between navigation ECU sub-assembly and parking assist ECU

  • Parking assist ECU

  • Navigation ECU sub-assembly

  • Harness or connector

Tech Tips

  • Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the auxiliary battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.

  • The navigation ECU sub-assembly is the master unit.
