Note
Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when removing the front seat.
Tech Tips
The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Front Floor Cover Type A)
REMOVE CENTER FRONT FLOOR COVER (for Front Floor Cover Type B)
REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Front Floor Cover Type B)
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)
REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for LHD)
REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)
REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)
REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH
REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 8 tag pins and the front seat cushion heater assembly.
