BRAKE PEDAL(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER


    1. Remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster from the pedal support sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING

      Remove the brake pedal return spring from the brake pedal support sub-assembly and the push rod pin.

  6. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN

      Remove the clip and push rod pin.

    2. Separate the push rod clevis from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the clamp and separate the wire harness from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the brake pedal support sub-assembly from the instrument panel reinforcement assembly.

      Disengage the wire harness clamp.

      Remove the 4 nuts and the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
