EGR COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for LHD)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for RHD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for LHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for RHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for LHD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for RHD)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for LHD)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for RHD)

    Click here

  10. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER (w/ No. 2 Cylinder Head Cover)

    Click here

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE

    Click here

  13. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and wire harness clamp.

    2. A01UY10

      Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. A01UY3O

      Disconnect the clamp, No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose.

      Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the stud bolt.

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and EGR valve bracket.

    6. A01V23R

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and EGR valve with cooler assembly.

    7. Remove the gasket.

    8. A01UZGL

      Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose.

    9. Remove the 2 bolts, EGR valve assembly and gasket.

    10. A01V01R

      Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.
