DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives a hybrid control system or engine control system malfunctioning signal from the power management control ECU via the CAN communication system, DTC C1A40 is stored.

When DTC C1A40 is detected, the hybrid control system or engine control system DTC will also be detected.

    1. Check DTCs for hybrid control system Click here.

      OK
      Hybrid control system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check DTCs for engine control system Click here.

      OK
      Engine control system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  3. REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU


    1. Replace the power management control ECU Click here for LHD, Click here for RHD).

  4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash 2 / DTC.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1A40 is not output.
