DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when one of the following occurs: 1) yaw rate and acceleration sensor power supply malfunction; 2) yaw rate and acceleration sensor open malfunction; or 3) EEPROM malfunction.

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor power supply malfunction

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor open malfunction

  • EEPROM malfunction


  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor

  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.

    3. Set the theft deterrent system to the "ARMED STATE".

    4. Check that the security indicator changes from illuminated to flashing.

    5. Set the theft deterrent system to the "DISARMED STATE".

    6. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2768 is not output.

    NG
    OK
  2. REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR


    1. Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor Click here.


    NEXT
  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.

    3. Set the theft deterrent system to the "ARMED STATE".

    4. Check that the security indicator changes from illuminated to flashing.

    5. Set the theft deterrent system to the "DISARMED STATE".

    6. Check for DTCs Click here.
