Note
Before disconnecting the air tube, press the height control OFF switch to stop the vehicle height control operation.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE COWL TOP SILENCER PAD
Disengage the 3 claws and remove the cowl top silencer pad.
REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP
Remove the 3 nuts and front shock absorber cap.
DISCONNECT NO. 4 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE
Separate the height control tube clamp from the No. 4 height control tube.
Note
Make sure to hold the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly chamber by hand.
Disconnect the No. 4 height control tube from the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly by loosening the nut.
Note
Keep the chamber of the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly unmoved by holding it by hand.

REMOVE NO. 4 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE O-RING

Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 4 height control tube.
SEPARATE FRONT SPEED SENSOR
Remove the bolt and clamp, and separate the front speed sensor and front flexible hose.
SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
Remove the nut and separate the front stabilizer link assembly from the front shock absorber.
Tech Tips
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
REMOVE FRONT PNEUMATIC WITH SHOCK ABSORBER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

Support the front axle using a jack and wooden block.
Loosen the 2 bolts, remove the 2 nuts and separate the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly (lower side) from the steering knuckle.
Note
When removing the nuts, keep the bolts from rotating.
Do not remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the height control tube clamp from the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly.
Slowly lower the jack, and remove the 3 nuts (upper side), 2 bolts (lower side) and front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly.
Note
Make sure that the front speed sensor is completely separated from the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly.
REMOVE FRONT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER INNER COVER
Using a screwdriver, release the clamp's lock of the 2 bands and remove the 2 bands as shown in the illustration.
Remove the front pneumatic cylinder inner cover from the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder sub-assembly.
