SKID CONTROL ECU INSTALLATION

Note

While the battery is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch is turned on. Therefore, when servicing the brake system components, do not depress the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the battery is connected.


  1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU (for LHD)


    1. A01NDFA

      Connect the 4 connectors to the skid control ECU.

    2. Install the skid control ECU with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }
  2. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU (for RHD)


    1. A01NGNX

      Connect the 4 connectors to the skid control ECU.

    2. A01NG4S

      Install the skid control ECU with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }
  3. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for RHD)


    1. A01NET0

      Install the connector holder with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
  4. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)


    1. A01ND00

      Install the ECU integration box RH with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
  5. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for LHD)


    1. Install the connector holder with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
  6. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. A01NGIS

      Engage the claw, 4 clips and guide.

    3. A01NFHC

      Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 5 screws <F>.

  7. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  8. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  9. PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING


    1. When the skid control ECU is replaced, perform linear valve offset learning Click here.

  10. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION


    1. Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration Click here.

  11. PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION


    1. Perform test mode inspection Click here.
